I've got really know one to "obsess" with about the band so an online community is essential. I read your post from May about the Denver '73 show, just downloaded that one the other day and have been enjoying it ever since. I dont know if you've heard it yet (if you haven't prepare to have your mind blown!) but the Kezar Stadium show from 1973 is one of my favorite from that year. The China Cat/Rider is particularly jamtastic. here's the internet archive link: http://www.archive.org/details/gd73-05-26.sbd.cribbs.17076.sbeok.shnf enjoy! just stumbled across your blog here…i’m all about it! i was just having a conversation with a friend last night about how weird it is to be 28 and just getting into the Dead. My wife indulges my Dead listening, but she can do without the extended jams. However, I enjoy a 30 minite PITB! My two kids (8 and 6) love He's Gone. They gigle when they hear "steal your face right off your head..." As an aside, the Dead is reasonably family-friendly. I love the fact they don't swear much.
